Recent Progress & Areas for Improvement

Recent Progress

Haley has made excellent progress this term and has been promoted to the Beg-Latin class level 1. She shows strong focus in class, participates actively, and rarely gets distracted. Her rhythm is developing very well, and she completes movements with precision and attention to detail.

Areas for Improvement

In the next term, Haley can focus on enhancing her expressive movement and strengthening her memory and familiarity with dance sequences. This will help her feel more confident when performing in both class and stage settings.

Teacher’s Note

We are looking forward to Haley’s performance in the May recital. If she has time during the summer, continuing dance lessons in July or August will help maintain and strengthen her skills. Any long break, such as two months, may require some adjustment in September, but with consistent practice, she will quickly regain confidence and control.

In the next academic year, I am especially excited for Haley to participate in her first Teacher–Student competition, which will be a wonderful opportunity for her to experience performing on stage and applying what she has learned.

As a teacher, I feel incredibly proud to guide such a talented student. His natural sense of rhythm and musicality is remarkable, and his explosive energy and power in movement make him truly stand out. Watching him grow and express himself through dance is a joy, and I am confident he has great potential to shine even more on stage.
